  Planned on using the cidery as our wedding venue. After our initial meeting and informing them of our budget (which they agreed to) we put a deposit of $700 down. On our second meeting they gave us a breakdown of costs which exceeded our budget quite a bit. We left the meeting to discuss things privately and decided that it was too costly. We contacted Merridale informing that them that they had exceeded our budget and believed that since it had only been a month (they had 9 months still to fill the date we had booked) and it was their fault we deserved the down payment back. They did not agree with that and since they held the money there was not much we could do. So in the end they pocketed $700 for 2 meetings.

  Great selection of ciders and there is a lovely, whimsical walk around the property. Inside is cozy with big windows that let in lots of sun.

  Really enjoyed our quick stop here. They have a great variety of Ciders and some cool other options, if cider isn't quite your thing and you're just along for the ride. I'd definitely recommend their copper gin.

  Fantastic facility 45 minutes from Victoria. Tasting room and bistro open daily except December 25th. Excellent selection of ciders, some of which are available to be poured into your growler. Reasonable priced flights for sampling supplied by knowledgeable staff

  Wow, what an wonderful setting! The orchard, the building and the arromas.
